Trump Rally
On Tuesday, September 20, I went to a Donald Tump rally, here at High Point University. I got in line for the rally at 8, and they quickly began letting people in. My friends and I got seats located behind the podium, about 40 feet away from Donald Trump. It was a great experience, the crowd was very enthusiastic. There was a standing section on the floor that faced towards the front of the podium, it was full but I thought they could have filled with more people, that has surprised me. My theory was that they didn't want the crowd to get too rowdy or in case of an emergency, there wasn't too many people. Although Trump was an hour late and his speech was about 20 minutes long, I was glad I went. There was one person who had to be escorted out of the stadium for yelling obscene things. But other then that, everyone was well behaved. I did notice during his speech, it seemed to be mellow and more tamed than his usual free, and opinionated speeches. Since his speeches are "bland", you could say, he gets less press coverage, or opinionated remarks on the news. That helps him do better and possibly gets him more votes from the people that thinks he's crazy. In the end, I believe no matter what side you are for, this was a good event to experience and say you went to.

Group Members
When talking with my group members, we found that we had a diverse group. Nobody shares a major. There is a history, pre-med, business, and political science major. As for me, I am an interior design major. Both, Ashton and Basia are from Virginia. Dan is from New York, and I am from Pennsylvania. But the person who lives the furthest is Peter, he is from China. We all have a wide range of foods we enjoy. In fact, they are from different cultures. I look forward to working with this group some more.
